Daily Journal July 19, 1998, By-Willam Thomas Thompson. Proverbs 28-27, "He that giveth unto the poor shall no lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have a curse." This hot Sunday morning continues a record heat wave over the South and West with failed crops and devastating storms and scab disease destroying the wheat crops and wheat at $3.00 per bushel while it cost $5.00 to grow, while the cost of everything for the farmer goes up. While the stock market goes up, we are at the breaking point staged in world history ready for the big bust when in one hour all money will fail and all will be to no avail. Hag. 1-6, "Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat but" Today a tidal wave in Papua New Guinea killed 1,000 people and leveled 3 islands. Bodies are lying open on the beaches with no people to pick them up while our nations 10's of thousands church preachers stand and praise our great society. We have no real feel for the worlds poor and needy. Here we are a tax to be rich society with a Holy Harvard and Yale mentality hopelessly lost. Our intellectual leadership and that of the church has no real capacity to interpret prophecy of the Bible or local conditions. We are as blind as a bat headed into the future of destruction with no warning. Our medical is out doing organ transplants while the nation is sick. It’s whatever pays money, the most money. What can money buy if there is no food especially food? What good is money if the water supply is poison not just with the poisons we add to the nations supply, but those getting in from polluted sources that we have no control? We have outlawed God and killed the babies and our judgment is determined. The church thinks and teaches that one profession of faith is sufficient. They are void of knowledge of truth. This puts the soul to sleep and soothes conscious to pacify that inner longing to know God wholly and to truly know Him personally with joy and holiness of heart and of mind with wisdom and knowledge. It is said that if money can buy it, then it’s cheap. I say if it takes money to buy it, and then do not buy it. I am erased from money altogether. Money, it is not on my mind. Money is the apple of the world's eye. This nation is drunk on money. Money is said to be the root of all evil. Money is an addiction in this nation. In places where people make pennies per day, they are kind and helpful. Here, people have no time at all. Haggai 1-4, "Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your ceiled houses" The Sunday Morning CBS show had a report on mobile churches as on the lake in Michigan with 1,000 floating boating church with a long handle net as the collection plate. At 10,000 feet on the ski slop of Colorado a church service in progress with the skis as the way to travel there. On the California Coast a Christian worship service among the ski boards in a beach house. Truckers have church services in trailers from coast to coast. All over the world people seek God and many find Him. May all find Him? 6-"He that earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes" These outdoor services and nature activities are like I see to do in Florida in an outdoor Christian art museum. Back to nature as one person say that Jesus ministry was out doors. I like the outdoors. I like to eat outdoors. I love the open air. I want to paint outdoors; I want to paint huge art murals to fill the sky. I want to paint the entire Bible on the 8 foot chain link fence.
